Born and raised in Hartsville, South Carolina, Matthew C. Hines grew up with a love for sports, the outdoors, and community spirit. After graduating from high school in 1995, he pursued a degree in Marketing at Clemson University, where his interest in business and international affairs deepened.

This passion eventually led him to law school, where he earned a dual degree a Juris Doctorate and an MBA.
